I think the ship has sailed and I think the church needs -- I think this is the world we are living in and we need to affirm people wherever they are."

Bell went on to talk about love: "I would say that the powerful, revolutionary thing about Jesus' message is that he says, 'What do you do with the people that aren't like you? What do you do with the Other? What do you do with the person that's hardest to love?'"

I find this to be a very interesting article about a well known Christian Evangelist/writer who has come out publicly in support of gay marriages.

As a Believer in Jesus Christ I have always been taught that we should always love the "sinner" but hate the "sin".  In God's eye one sin is no more serious or less serious than another sin.  "God hates sin!"

My question is this:  Is Pastor Rob Bell a wolf in sheep's clothing and should he be labeled a "false teacher" of God's Word?

I thought this article about the "Hollywood elites" dog-piling on actor and Christian Kirk Cameron was pretty interesting. I watched this interview that Piers Morgan had with Kirk and felt that Kirk did a good job standing his ground against the worldly and depraved morals of Hollywood.

It will be interesting now, how Kirk's future as an actor will be, after all of the slanderous and negative slurs that Hollywood branded him with. Let us all keep Kirk Cameron and all actors that do not waver in they're Christian belief's and walk from the pressures of Hollywood.

The legislation has been decried by pro-family advocates as a major threat to freedom, since it would force religious institutions to open the doors of their facilities for homosexual “marriages.”

I don't know about you, but sometimes when I read articles like this where the Obama Administration is pushing the LGBT agenda as a foreign policy priority; it makes me wonder how other countries view the United States when it comes to "One Nation under God".  It would be interesting to get feedback from other folks who live outside the U.S. regarding their views on this topic.

Every time I read an article about a medical doctor changing the sexual identity both mentally and physically of a child under the disguise of "gender identity disorder (GID) " it makes me literally ill at my stomach.  Do these young children really have the ability to determine whether or not they were born a boy in a girls body or a girl born in a boys body?

I applaud Matthew Hoffman for having the courage to stand up and speak out against the homosexual movement that seems to be an epidemic that is spreading world-wide like a cancer invading the human body.  

It has come to a point in our modern society that if a Christian speaks out against homosexuality they are quickly condemned as being "hateful", "bigots", or, even in some jurisdictions "criminals" because saying anything negative about homosexuality is classified as a "hate crime".  

In the Holy Scriptures, Jesus commands us to go out and preach the gospel to all people and let them know that God loves them.  I think it is time that all believers need to be like Matthew Hoffman and speak out against homosexuality (in the love of Jesus) and let folks know that it is not God's will for the human race.  What are some of your ideas regarding this very sensitive issue?  Should Christians speak out or should they remain silent when it comes to sexual immorality?

Sexual standards were very low in the Roman Empire, and in many societies today they are not any higher.  The temptation to engage in sexual intercourse outside of marriage relationship has always been powerful.  Giving in to the temptation can have disastrous results.  Sexual sins always hurt someone; individuals, families, businesses, churches.  Besides the physical consequences, there are also spiritual consequences (1 Cor. 6:18).  Sexual desires and activities must be placed under Christ’s control.  God created sex for procreation and pleasure, and as an expression of love between a husband and wife.  Sexual experience must be limited to the marriage relationship to avoid hurting ourselves, our relationship to God, and our relationships with others.

This is a very interesting news article out of the township of Union, New Jersey.  Special education teacher Viki Knox is under investigation by her school board for criticizing homosexuality on her own private Facebook page.  This should hit home with all Christians regarding "Freedom of Speech" and "Freedom of Religion".  Do we not have a constitutional right to voice our religious beliefs on our own Facebook or web pages?

The amendment, passed by the state legislature on Saturday in a 70-62 vote, would allow Minnesotans the opportunity to vote during the 2012 election to enshrine traditional marriage in the state constitution.

When the gay news source Washington Blade asked for comment on the amendment, White House spokesman Shin Inouye issued a statement. It read:

“The President has long opposed divisive and discriminatory efforts to deny rights and benefits to same sex couples or to take such rights away. It seems like our President is not having a very good week! First he threatens the state of Indiana for being the first state to defund Planned Parenthood. Now he is criticizing Minnesota for passing the traditional marriage amendment to their constitution that states: “Only a union of one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in Minnesota.” Now the voters in Minnesota will have a chance to vote on whether they would like to keep the traditional marriage in their state.  This amendment sounds just fine too me. Way to go Minnesota!

But I think I may have underestimated the threat, because now I fear the democratic process and the rule of law are endangered as well.

It was bad enough when the President and the Attorney General declared the Defense of Marriage Act was unconstitutional and would not defend the law of the land in court. Never mind that the DOMA was signed by President Clinton in 1996 after the Senate passed it 85-15 and the House by a margin of 342 to 66!

But after the House of Representatives hired the law firm of King and Spalding to represent DOMA in court (since the executive branch wouldn’t), something not-so-funny happened. I find this to be a very interesting article by Chuck Colson regarding the Defense of the Marriage Act. What's really interesting is that the Senate and House passed the Marriage Act by wide margins, but President Obama and his Attorney General declared it unconstitutional. Let me ask you this one simple question...Do the POLITICIANS who run the U.S. Government still answer to the PEOPLE that put them into OFFICE?

What is the matter with those folks who call themselves "Professionals" in the medical and psychiatric community of the United Kingdom? This was really a hard story for me to read because it deals with offering drugs to children to delay the onset of puberty. The theory is that this will allow the child time to come to a “decision” regarding his or her “gender”. Let me tell you folks something that is very profound! WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama has determined that a federal law that barred gay marriages was unconstitutional and told government lawyers to stop defending it, the Justice Department said on Wednesday, a major reversal that quickly angered conservatives.

A U.S. judge in Boston ruled in 2010 that a key provision of the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) banning gay marriages was unconstitutional, but the Obama administration appealed, stating that it was obligated to defend U.S. laws.

The hot-button issue of same-sex marriage has been the focus of many judicial and political battles across the country. This is not really too surprising to me when it comes to the flip-flopping of the decisions made by our president. As you recall, Obama was for "civil Unions" and not "Gay Marriages". I have to admit that after reading this article about Pastor Charles McVety's Christian program being removed from the Crossroads Television System (CTS TV) because it apparently discriminated against homosexuals, made me get down on my knees and pray. Lord have mercy on those who claim to be Christians who are bowing down to the devil and allowing Your very Word's to be censored. There will be a time when all Christian media will be censored and if it does not conform to the standards of the world it will not be broadcasted.

Christians all over the world need to come together in prayer to fight this evil that comes from a small segment of the world’s population. Homosexuality is not the normal way of life and it definitely is not God's Will for His greatest Creation. Christians need to speak up and let their voices be heard. We do not want an “alternative lifestyle” introduced into our schools and churches. We do not want the Holy Bible to be censored or re-written to conform to the World’s standards. We want our Pastors, Ministers and Evangelist to be free to preach the Word of God without the fear of censorship or loosing their jobs.

Let us all pray for the wisdom and courage that our Almighty and Awesome God has promised to give those who humble themselves and come too Him. Lord give us all the wisdom and courage that we need to stand up against those who deliberately defy and mock You. Heavenly Father I know that Your Word will never return void. I found this to be a very interesting article writen by Albert Mohler who is the President of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I am just waiting, like many other Christians, for the cry of "discrimination" against incestuous acts ...as well as "discrimination" against bestiality, polygamy, and pedophilia to come to the forefront of our socially elite, liberal court system.

Foremost on my list was the freedom we as Americans still enjoy to practice our religion. This includes the right to promote laws and leaders who uphold our values. But in the week before Thanksgiving, an influential civil rights group that claims to fight “hate and bigotry,” was making a list of its own.

In its newly-released Winter Intelligence Report, the Southern Poverty Law Center labels eighteen Christian organizations as “anti-gay groups.” The charges? “Pumping out demonizing propaganda aimed at homosexuals and other sexual minorities.” Click here to read the full story.

After reading this article by Chuck Colson regarding the Southern Poverty Law Center's (SPLC) attack on "anti-gay groups" it sounds like the end times are getting closer folks! It makes me wonder just how long it will be before your church will be added to the SPLC's "hate groups list" along with the Neo Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan!
