BOSTON, December 14, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A front-page story on the Boston Globe’s Sunday edition highlighted the work of a prestigious Massachusetts hospital which blocked and altered the development of one young boy’s body to match his self-identification as a girl.

Wyatt Maines, now 14 years old, is the identical twin of brother Jonas - but thanks to powerful hormone blocking drugs, he is now five inches shorter and several pounds lighter than Jonas, sports more feminine features, and goes by the name “Nicole.” “The thought of being a boy makes me cringe,’’ said Maines. “I just couldn’t do it.’’  Click "here" for the complete article.

Every time I read an article about a medical doctor changing the sexual identity both mentally and physically of a child under the disguise of "gender identity disorder (GID) " it makes me literally ill at my stomach.  Do these young children really have the ability to determine whether or not they were born a boy in a girls body or a girl born in a boys body? 

Please read this article regarding these two twin boys and tell me what your opinion is regarding sex changes in young children.  It has become a "Norm" for this perverse and wicked world to take what God has created as "Good" and change it to the "Evil" desires of man.  

Did God create Women and Men equally?

While surfing the Internet, I have come across several Christian blog sites that sometimes tend to place women as second class citizens.  When God created man, did He actually intend for him to have total control (dominate) over women?  Or, did God create woman to be man’s companion and to share equally (Genesis 1:27) in their dominion over all of the earth (Genesis 1:26).

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” (Genesis 1:26)

Why does God use the plural form, "Let us make man in our image"?  One view says this is a reference to the Trinity - God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and the Holy Spirit - all of whom are God.  Another view is that the plural wording is used to denote majesty.  Kings traditionally use the plural form in speaking of themselves.  From Job 33:4 and Psalm 104:30, we do know that God's Spirit was present in the creation.  From Colossians 1:16 we know that Christ, God's Son, was at work in the creation.

I'm Back! God is so good!

God's morning to all my blog followers and readers. I am back from vacation with my high school sweetheart. God is so good and He has given us so much to be thankful for. We traveled over 2600 miles around Washington state and central Oregon in our travel trailer. The beauty of the Northern Cascades of Washington were breathtaking. While in Seattle Margaret and I had an early 42nd anniversary dinner at the top of the Space Needle.

When we look out at all of the beauty and breath-taking scenery that we saw along our trip, it simply made me humble myself before our Awesome and Holy God, just knowing that He created it all. U.S. House blocks ObamaCare funds for teaching abortion to new doctors

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 26, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday voted to ban federal funds for teaching abortion techniques to medical students at public health centers.

The House voted 234-182 for the amendment proposed by pro-life U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.). Thirteen Democrats joined Republicans in voting for the bill, while ten Republicans voted with Democrats against it.

Foxx’s amendment (HR 1216) changes a part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), which had created a line of direct funding for qualified teaching health centers (including Title X “family planning” clinics) to establish or expand programs for medical residents.

The bill instead makes the centers dependent on annual appropriations from Congress, and requires that the funds allotted for qualified teaching health centers not be used to subsidize “abortion or training in the provision of abortions.” Click "Here" for complete article.

Way too go U.S. Representative Virginia Foxx! This is another thorn in the side of the Obama administration’s eagerness to support and fund abortion with tax payers money. Fox said on the House floor during Tuesday’s debate, “My amendment is designed to protect life, and the livelihoods of those who defend it.”

Foxx also added that her amendment supports the majority of U.S. taxpayers opposed to public funding of abortion and seeks “to ensure that their hard-earned money does not go to organizations that promote abortion or discriminate against pro-life health care providers.”

Let us continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving (Colossians 4:2), lifting up our government and the people that are elected to serve us. It is my prayer today that God will continue to give wisdom and courage to those who speak out for the protection of the unborn so their cries will be heard all around the world. I pray this all in Jesus' name. Amen.

Canadian Paediatric Approves Infant Death by Dehydration!

Canadian Paediatric approves the dehydration of infants who may not be otherwise dying

April 4, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Canadian Paediatric Society - bioethics committee, released a statement on April 1 concerning the withholding and withdrawing of artificial nutrition and hydration.

The statement is similar to the statement from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Both statements approve the withholding or withdrawing of nutrition and hydration (fluids and food) from infants who may not be dying.

The Canadian statement allows euthanasia by dehydration (slow euthanasia) of infants with cognitive or other disabilities based on a “quality of life” assessment and with consent.

I refer to this as euthanasia by dehydration because there is a clear difference between withholding or withdrawing fluids and food from a person who is actually dying and nearing death and a person who is not otherwise dying. Click "Here" for the complete story.

We really need to get down on our knees and humble ourselves before the Lord. God have mercy on these doctors and any other person who would agree with such a barbaric attitude towards human life. This sounds like eugenics to me. Let us allow the "fit" and "normal" to live, but not those who have disabilities. God loves all His little children.

The Supremacy of Jesus Christ

Paul interrupts his description of his prayers for the Colossians (Colossians 1: 1-14) with a song of praise. This early Christian hymn (Colossians 1: 15-20) emphasizes the superiority of Christ over all creation. Christ is the One who created all things, whether they be material or immaterial, seen or unseen. This idea is in direct contradiction to the false teaching, later known as Gnosticism, that was developing in the Colossian church. In general, Gnostics believed that various angelic beings were the creators of the earth and that Christ was one among many of these angels. Not only did Jesus create all things; everything was created for His purposes (Hebrews 1:2). But the glory of the earth, the heavens, or the sun, moon, and stars cannot be compared with the glory of His new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. Death by Medical Breakthrough

Seventy-five years ago the Nazis targeted the disabled and the weak for extermination. Most of us now recognize as evil the idea that some people are less worthy of life than others. But, tragically, eugenics never seems to go away completely. It keeps coming back with a new name - such as “medical breakthrough.”

Exhibit “A” is an article on the ABC News website entitled, “New Down Syndrome Test Could Cut Healthy Baby Deaths.” Lynn Harris describes how, pregnant in her late 30s, she underwent a test at twelve weeks to learn if her baby had Down syndrome. The baby was perfectly healthy - but the test - called Chorionic Villus Sampling - ended up killing him.

But now there’s a blood test that can be performed in the first trimester—one that does not carry the risk of more invasive testing. It can detect Down syndrome with 100 percent accuracy, and can do so, according to one geneticist, “without any risk to the pregnancy.” Click "Here" for the complete story.

This is a very interesting article written by Chuck Colson relating to the advancement of medical breakthroughs, or in this case should we call it "eugenics", to determine the fate of a child born with Down syndrome.

We need to gather together and pray that our medical breakthroughs and medical advancements will always be used to bring glory to God and the preservation of human life. When these medical breakthroughs promote the advancement and justification of abortions or the premature death of an elderly or terminally ill person, then we are on the verge of another holocaust.

God Will Make Everything New!

Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. The earth as we know it will not last forever, but after God's great judgment, He will create a new earth (Romans 8:18:21; 2 Peter 3:7-13). New here suggests freshness, not just a second beginning. This is the fulfillment of the prophecies (Isaiah 65:17; 66:22; 2 Peter 3:13). Significantly, this eternal renewal has already begun in the life of the believer because, using the same term, Paul says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17). The present heaven and earth, including the sea, were burned up in the great white throne judgment (Revelation 20:11, 13), and thus have passed away before the arrival of the new heaven and earth. The fact that there will be a continuation of some features of the present creation in the new heaven and new earth is implied by the description of the New Jerusalem as the holy city, a title that is applied to the present Jerusalem in Revelation 11:2. Yet the drastic difference in the new eternal state is obvious from the fact that there will be no more sea, which was a major part of the original creation (Genesis 1:6–10).

40 Days for Life Announces Milestone: 3,000 Babies Saved
