I'm Back! God is so good!

God's morning to all my blog followers and readers. I am back from vacation with my high school sweetheart. God is so good and He has given us so much to be thankful for. We traveled over 2600 miles around Washington state and central Oregon in our travel trailer. The beauty of the Northern Cascades of Washington were breathtaking. While in Seattle Margaret and I had an early 42nd anniversary dinner at the top of the Space Needle.

When we look out at all of the beauty and breath-taking scenery that we saw along our trip, it simply made me humble myself before our Awesome and Holy God, just knowing that He created it all. Below are a few photographs of some of the beauty that we came across in our travels. God bless and enjoy.

What Must I Do To Be Saved? The ABC’s of Becoming a Christian

“A” is for Admit. You must admit to God that you are a sinner. You must be sorry for your sins and turn away from sinning. Verses that support this step are: Romans 3:23, 6:23, Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9.

“B” is for Believe. You must believe that Jesus is God’s Son and that God sent Jesus to pay the penalty for sin. Verses about believing include: John 3:16, 14:6, Romans 5:8.

“C” is for Confess. You must confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Read the following verse: Romans 10:9-10,13.

After you admit to God that you are a sinner, repent and turn from your sin, believe that Jesus is God’s Son sent to die to pay for the sins of the world, and confess your faith in Jesus, you are a Christian and know Jesus as your Savior.

Admit! Believe! Confess! Here is a sample prayer that will help you begin:

Dear Lord Jesus,
I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and that You arose from the grave. I am now asking you to forgive me of my sins and to save my soul. I pray this all in your Holy and Precious name. Amen.

If you have recently prayed this prayer and accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I invite you to contact me so that I may REJOICE with you in your new-found faith. I want to personally welcome you to my blog. My whole intention of blogging is to spread the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I will occasionally reflect on world events that affect the Christian Faith and family values. I have a strong desire to get the TRUTH of the WORD of GOD out to all those who are hurting and are in need of a SAVIOR.
