I want to take time to thank God for everything that He has
done for me, because without His love, mercy, and grace, I would have no hope, joy
or peace in this world.
Thank you Lord for dying on the cross for me.
Thank you Lord for my wife, Margaret, three
wonderful boys, and lots of grandkids.
Thank you Lord for providing for my family even when things
were tough.
Thank you Lord for giving me and my family a loving church
home.
Thank you Lord for allowing me to go out and witness in Your
name.
Thank you Lord for this Christian Blog and the friendship of
other Christian Bloggers.
When I think of how much God has done for me it just humbles
me that even though I am a sinner He will never leave me nor forsaken me. It is my prayer this Thanksgiving Day that
everyone that reads this post will experience the love, mercy and grace of
God... for without Him we are nothing.
God bless each and every one of you and your families.

I too am thankful for all things in life. Without God, we would not be.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

I fully agree with you that thanksgiving for all the good things God has given you uplifts the soul and are pleasing to God.
But as another blogger has reminded me, it is also good to give thanks to God for our tribulations also, as Paul instructs us to give thanks to God for everything, good and bad.
I find giving thanks for the bad things very difficult, and it shows that I have still a long way to go at growing in my faith.
But it is also nice to know that God will never leave or forsake us.
Amen!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
Amen! God bless Lloyd! Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving, Lloyd. We wish you and yours a great day of breaking bread and fellowship. Yours in Christ, Ian and Gillian.
Amen, and Happy Thanksgiving.
Hi Lloyd, and thanks for the lovely comment on my blog. I wish you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving. We have nothing like this in the UK and I think it is wonderful to have a national day when people can give thanks to God for so much. I also have much to be thankful for! I give thanks to the Lord "in all circumstances" - even in my ill health - if I had not been ill I would have missed out on so much, so many blessings, so many benefits and opportunities for growth and friendships. Not enough space here to list them all! May God bless you richly today, Lloyd, Shoshi
Great Post
Happy Thanksgiving
"Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:" (II Peter 1:2-3)
He has given everything we have from our very life to our food, and our salvation. Only as we know him do we understand the love he has exhibited in providing all things.
Great post.
