Baby Joseph NOT in vegetative state!

LONDON, Ontario, February 24, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Dying one-year-old Joseph Maraachli’s family says two new videos of him flailing and reacting to tickling belie his hospital’s claim that he is in a permanent vegetative state.

The video of Joseph being tickled, which was shot Sunday evening only hours before the hospital had planned to remove his life support, also shows Joseph’s hands tied down - a measure the hospital took after Joseph removed the tube from his throat on at least two separate occasions.

“How can a baby be in a vegetative state who has his hands tied - as we speak - for him to not pull out his tube?” asked Joseph’s aunt, Samar Nader. “How does a baby in a vegetative state respond to combing or tickling?"

“What really boggles my mind is how we’re not allowed to videotape him or have media outlets watching him to show the public what he’s like,” she added. “That’s very frustrating.” Click "Here" for complete story.

This is a very "heartfelt" story of how the family of a one year old little boy is fighting the hospital in an attempt to remove all life support. The hospital claims little Joseph is in a vegetative state but the parents have video prove that their son is still responsive to their loving touch. It makes me wonder why the hospital is in such a hurry to end little Joseph's life.

Father God, it is my prayer this morning that you be with little Joseph and his family. I pray that the medical team that is working on this child will have the wisdom and compassion neccessary to comfort the family when the time comes for little guy to make his way home to You. I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Requesting Prayer

Good evening: It has really been a strange week for me and my blog. I have been getting several unwanted emails and comments that contain slanderous and filthy remarks against me for posting articles relating to sexual immorality. Along with this, my "follow icon" has been removed from several blogs that I have been following for months without my approval.

I want to thank my dear brother in Christ, Ian Curtis, for letting me know that my "follow Icon" had been removed from his blog. I have checked several other blogs I follow and noticed that I have also been removed as a follower as well. I was beginning to think that the bloggers I have been following were removing my "follow icon" because maybe I had posted/commented or said something that had offended them.

Does anyone know if a bloggers "follow icon" can be removed by "anyone" who wishes to remove it? Anyways... I will be getting a hold of the Blogger Team to see what is happening and what I can do about this "harassment". Please pray for me and my blog ministry. God bless, Lloyd

Although God and the devil are at war, we don't have to wait until the end to see who will win. God has already defeated Satan (Revelation 12:10-12), and when Christ returns, the devil and all he stands for will be eliminated forever (Revelation 20:10-15). Satan is here now, however, and he is trying to win us over to his evil cause. With the Holy Spirit's power, we can resist the devil, and he will flee from us.

The Gay Liberation Network staged the rally on the eve of Valentine’s Day, shouting and chanting loudly as churchgoers entered to celebrate Sunday Mass. The demonstration’s primary target was Cardinal Francis George of Chicago, who has spoken out in defense of traditional marriage between a man and a woman. This is a glimpse of the near future in which sexual deviants will have more rights than other citizens, and in which the law will be applied selectively and only by permission of the “progressive” functionaries. Christian everywhere may have soon a good reason to meditate upon the words of Jesus: “If you have a cloak, sell it and buy a sword.” Will your church be the next to be swarmed by Gay protesters?

Let us all pray that God will intervene and protect His church. Let us always remember that we love the sinner but hate the sin. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! In God's eyes "Sin is Sin" no matter what name you call it. Let us all pray that those who have committed sexual immorality will turn to God and repent, asking God's forgiveness, and come back into fellowship with Him.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama has determined that a federal law that barred gay marriages was unconstitutional and told government lawyers to stop defending it, the Justice Department said on Wednesday, a major reversal that quickly angered conservatives.

A U.S. judge in Boston ruled in 2010 that a key provision of the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) banning gay marriages was unconstitutional, but the Obama administration appealed, stating that it was obligated to defend U.S. laws.

The hot-button issue of same-sex marriage has been the focus of many judicial and political battles across the country. Gay marriage has only been legalized in the District of Columbia and five of the 50 states -- Connecticut, Massachusetts, Iowa, New Hampshire and Vermont. Click "Here" for complete story.

This is not really too surprising to me when it comes to the flip-flopping of the decisions made by our president. As you recall, Obama was for "civil Unions" and not "Gay Marriages". Now that our Commander and Chief has decided to endorse "Gay Marriages", we should see the wide spread of the virus begin to migrate towards the west coast. All Christians need to pray for the Obama Administration and the ungodly decisions that they have been making for us and our grandchildren to live with.

WASHINGTON, D.C., February 21, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In an interview with NCB12 last weekend, President Barack Obama was asked about the controversy surrounding Planned Parenthood, caused by the release of several undercover videos by the pro-life group Live Action.

They have shown Planned Parenthood staff members at seven different facilities offering advice to an undercover investigator disguised as a “pimp” on how to obtain secret abortions, STD testing and contraception for his underage prostitutes.

“There’s a conservative group that went into Planned Parenthood with video cameras and taped what appeared to be Planned Parenthood workers turning a blind eye to sex trafficking,” the NBC 12 interviewer said to President Obama. “Republicans here in Washington have turned this into a call for you and for other leaders in Washington to strip Planned Parenthood’s funding from the federal government. Do you think this video should be a reason to look at Planned Parenthood funding? Do you think it’s a setup? How would you react to that?”

I find this video interview with President Obama very interesting. Our president was asked to give a response to the undercover videos taken by investigators in seven Planned Parenthood clinics in New Jersey, Virginia, Washington D.C., and New York back in January. Is it any wonder why the American people are becoming more and more disillusioned and angry with our Federal Government when it comes to spending our hard earned tax dollars?

Humble Yourself Before God!

We often worry about our position and status, hoping to get proper recognition for what we do. But Peter advises us to remember that God's recognition counts more than human praise. God is able and willing to bless us according to His timing. Humbly obey God regardless of present circumstances, and in His good time - either in this life or in the next- He will lift you up.

Our God is in Control!

From innocent childhood queries to complex university discussions, life is filled with questions. Asking how and why and when, we probe beneath the surface to find satisfying answers. But not all questions have answers wrapped and neatly tied. These unanswered interrogations create more questions and nagging, spirit-destroying doubt. Some choose to live with their doubts, ignoring them and moving on with life. Others become cynical and hardened. But there are those who reject those options and continue to ask, looking for answers.

Viewers tuning in to Crossroads Television System (CTS TV) for the show Sunday night found instead a notice of cancellation. The Christian broadcaster had taken McVety’s show off the air temporarily in December after the Canadian Broadcasting Standards Council (CBSC) decision, but reinstated it a week later with the episodes pre-screened. I have to admit that after reading this article about Pastor Charles McVety's Christian program being removed from the Crossroads Television System (CTS TV) because it apparently discriminated against homosexuals, made me get down on my knees and pray. Lord have mercy on those who claim to be Christians who are bowing down to the devil and allowing Your very Word's to be censored. There will be a time when all Christian media will be censored and if it does not conform to the standards of the world it will not be broadcasted.

Christians all over the world need to come together in prayer to fight this evil that comes from a small segment of the world’s population. Homosexuality is not the normal way of life and it definitely is not God's Will for His greatest Creation. Christians need to speak up and let their voices be heard. We do not want an “alternative lifestyle” introduced into our schools and churches. We do not want the Holy Bible to be censored or re-written to conform to the World’s standards. We want our Pastors, Ministers and Evangelist to be free to preach the Word of God without the fear of censorship or loosing their jobs.

Let us all pray for the wisdom and courage that our Almighty and Awesome God has promised to give those who humble themselves and come too Him. Lord give us all the wisdom and courage that we need to stand up against those who deliberately defy and mock You. Heavenly Father I know that Your Word will never return void. I humbly pray all of this in Your Son, Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Supremacy of Jesus Christ

Paul interrupts his description of his prayers for the Colossians (Colossians 1: 1-14) with a song of praise. This early Christian hymn (Colossians 1: 15-20) emphasizes the superiority of Christ over all creation. Christ is the One who created all things, whether they be material or immaterial, seen or unseen. This idea is in direct contradiction to the false teaching, later known as Gnosticism, that was developing in the Colossian church. In general, Gnostics believed that various angelic beings were the creators of the earth and that Christ was one among many of these angels. Not only did Jesus create all things; everything was created for His purposes (Hebrews 1:2). But the glory of the earth, the heavens, or the sun, moon, and stars cannot be compared with the glory of His new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. (Colossians 1: 15-20)
