PM Netanyahu's Christmas Greetings

PM Netanyahu's Christmas Greetings to Israel's Christian citizens and to Christians throughout the world.  (Please turn off music button on sidebar)
_________________________________________________

Thank you PM Netanyahu for your Christmas wishes for all Christians around the world. In return, we wish Israel will have God's blessings of peace, joy and happiness and that the aggression against your people will end.

It is interesting to note that the Bible commands us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6), to speak out for Zion’s sake (Isaiah 62:1), to be watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem (Isaiah 62:6) and to bless the Jewish people (Genesis 12:3). These and many other Bible verses have one overriding message - as Christians we have a Biblical obligation to defend Israel and the Jewish people in their time of need.

Let us all join in and lift up our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus all around the world as we celebrate the birth of our Savior and Lord. Amen.

Thank you, Lloyd, for such a lovely response to PM Netanyahu's message. Although we know from God's Word that the Jewish People have an eternal future, and that Jerusalem will one day be the capital of the world, between now and that time, there are many dangers ahead for God's ancient people the Jews. Thank you for a timely reminder to pray for them. Praying for the peace of Jerusalem means praying for the coming of the Prince of Peace to Jerusalem, and that His beloved people will soon turn to Him in repentance as a nation.

Thank you, as always, for your lovely comments as you visit my blog! It will be a difficult day for us on Friday - the passing of an era as we remember the life of a wonderful man.

May God bless you.

In Ester 4:14, Mordecai told Esther Israel would be delivered whether she did her part or not, but that she would suffer the consequences if she didn't. Whether we help or not Israel will be protected, but if we turn on her, we will suffer the consequences. We need to help her for our own sake.

Thanks Lloyd! The Jews are still the chosen ones. I pray for peace in Jerusalem as well. This was incredibly encouraging in a time where Christianity is being questioned and ridiculed. I will pray for Netanyahu. God bless!

Thank you for sharing this. So much of what is said about Israel in the news is negative , it is good to hear a good word from God on praying for Israel.

Karen,

Christ's Church are His chosen ones, not a national state. All people, Jews and Gentiles, will perish in the lake of fire without Jesus Christ. We are all one *in Christ*. Outside of Christ we are all enemies of God.

Solus Christus,
Mike
