President Obama's LGBT Agenda

International backlash begins against Obama’s LGBT agenda

NEW YORK, January 20 (C-FAM) - The citizens of several countries are pushing back against President Obama’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender foreign policy imperative. Leaders in El Salvador launched a website on “Obama’s Corrupting Foreign Policy” and are asking the U.S. Senate to reject Obama’s nominee for ambassador to their country.

President Obama announced in December that the promotion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) behavior is a top foreign policy priority, even for the U.S. military overseas.  At the same time, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave a high-profile speech at the UN equating LGBT status with religion. The State Department told oambassadors worldwide to recognize “gay pride month,” and it released a list of “accomplishments” including the fact that a U.S. ambassador had published an OpEd promoting the LGBT agenda on behalf of the United States.

I don't know about you, but sometimes when I read articles like this where the Obama Administration is pushing the LGBT agenda as a foreign policy priority; it makes me wonder how other countries view the United States when it comes to "One Nation under God".  It would be interesting to get feedback from other folks who live outside the U.S. regarding their views on this topic.

Please continue to pray for our president and our country.

Prayers...Incessantly...That's what we must do. Praying for a leader who's able to see through His eyes. That's what this country needs. Blessings.

It makes one more and more aware how completely we have turned our backs on the Lord that he could even be elected, much less be allowed to push such an agenda. Praise God, not all the countries have completely turned themselves over to Satan yet. It is interesting that even some very wicked administrations see this as going too far.

There is no god. Stop wasting your life on fairy stories. And the "under God" is unconstitutional; we don't have a state religion in this country.
And I have no problems with the contempt of backwards and inferior cultures like Iran or North Korea or Pakistan or Somalia.

Lloyd Hi. You asked for the views of those outside the U S with regards to how they see the United states when it comes to " One nation under God".
For me the United states is THE most corrupt nation under the wide blue skies God has stretched out over us. I do realize that there are many many people who live in your country who have high morals and honour God, not only with their mouths, but with their whole heart. But this is a nation who is always at war with someone or other, usually disguised as the war against terror, but at war all the same. They manipulate governments around the world by subversion and corruption and in my personal opinion this is just another one of their profligate tactics. I, on the odd occasion, get the chance to watch a few movies that are produced in Nigeria and are broadcast on television, every one of them mentions God, prayer, Jesus and so on. American movies never ever mention any of these pure things only divorce, homosexuality, war, violence, murder and sex. America is in my opinion the most corrupt nation in the world. No I'm not a terrorist, Muslim, thief, murderer, radical or a threat to anyone, just a single man trying to live a godly life in a world that is becoming more and more corrupt.
I will say this for the American people though; it's not all your fault, your government or should I say those who have been offered to you as the only choices for election have been telling you for years, over and over again that Godliness is unacceptable. If you are told something over and over and over enough times you come to believe it no matter how incorrect that something may be. You have been deceived for years.
Those who live outside the United States aren't all terrorists we're just people who see your country for what it is as portrayed in your media and by your actions.
I don't have a problem with Americans, I, for the life of me, can't understand why you are all so afraid to stand up for what is right and throw those morally corrupt leaders out. America the land of the afraid.

Sorry Lloyd, I read that article and to tell the truth I'm disgusted that your government is trying, once again, to foister it's corruption on other nations in order to cover up their own disgusting lack of moral purity and the American people are doing nothing about it as far as I can tell.
Well there you have it, you can publish this opinion or not, it's up to you. You will always be my friend no matter where you live.
Bless you Lloyd, Geoff.

Having interacted with homosexuals myself and getting to know how they think, feel and act, I have a good idea where Obama is coming from.
If you approach any gay person and tell him that he had chosen this path and he is reaping the consequence, you will be deeply alienated and berated, believe me!
Evidence seem to indicate that orientation develops well within childhood, and it is now assumed by the majority of them that their orientation began during gestation, as most question any genetic origin.
The crucial matter here is sexual activity. Looking at the Bible, particularly Leviticus, Romans and 1 Corinthians, it appears that judgement will fall on those who, by their own choice, practice same-sex activity, just as heterosexuals by their own choice fornicate or commit adultery. Therefore, it looks to me that what is condemned and subject to judgement is sex outside marriage, whether Gay or Straight.
The only solution to the problem is to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for mercy and be filled with the Holy Spirit. I think that to God, orientation is not the issue, rather it's whether one turns to Christ for salvation or not.
To the straight Christian, sure enough, he or she could find a lifelong partner and enjoy sex within a happy marriage. But to the gay Christian, he would have to live a life of abstenance, although I have read stories of ex-gays settling down with a wife and raising a family, that is still very rare.
Only a strong conviction of the love of Christ and a constant infilling of the Holy Spirit can a gay Christian abstain from any sexual activity, and I would believe anyone who says that this is far from easy. But the same also apply to single straights. As any church would teach straight singles to abstain from any sexual activity until married, the same applies to gays.
I think that the churches had been too judgemental on gays, and such like, using political platforms to abolish, condemn or look down on groups such as LGBT. This kind of attitude really helps no-one and will alienate all homosexuals from the churches and from Jesus Christ altogether.
Paul never condemned the sins of the jailer. When the jailer asked Paul and Silas what to do to be saved, they answered, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, you and your household." No political discussion here. And for this to have happened, Paul and Silas weren't talking about LGBT or any political stance, they were singing and praising God despite their current circumstances.
And that is what churches should do today, magnifest the glory of God in our lives, so homosexuals and straight people will also ask, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"

Nigeria is one of the most corrupt nations on earth; if you're looking for evidence that lots of religious practice and high levels of religious profession are typical of nations that are backwards, poor and poorly educated and have low levels of public honesty and grossly inefficient public administrations, Nigeria is a gold mine of evidence.
One set of Europeans says we're evil because we're too religious; the other half says we're not religious enough. How about we abandon that most ridiculous of American foibles-the wish that everyone should like us-and get on with our lives? The rest of the world couldn't care less what we think of their religions (or lack thereof). We should have more self confidence and ignore them, too.

All we can do as Christians is work out our own salvation, pray that all will come to the knowledge of salvation through Jesus Christ and preach Christ crucified. We can not judge those who are outsiders,God does that, but we can take comfort in the fact that God wants all of mankind to be saved, and He knows how to do it. If He chooses to use us to bring someone to Himself, either to plant or to water, then He will add the increase. No man can come to Jesus except he is called by God, and no man can come to God except through Jesus. We must just play our part in spreading the Good news as we are led.

Some good points here; Frank and Brenda, you both have put very thoughtful and Christian viewpoints across, without condemning anyone and remaining clued in to the fact that Jesus came to save all of us, and at the end of the day, gay or straight, black or white, rich or poor, we are all sinners and we all need to be saved.

I just wouldn't read anything on LifeSiteNews.com It is an evil website that delights in salaciousness, half-truth and misrepresentation. Only a fool or someone mentally defective would belief half the vitriol and nastiness on the site.

It makes Fox News look like the Socialist Worker party.

Shame on you for even linking to this polluter of minds and distorter of the truth!

Are you stupid? All Obama’s policy is about is not allowing the promotion of vicious oppression of LGBT in countries that receive hand outs from the USA. Lifesitenews.com has purposefully reported this using half-truth and deliberate falsehood to give it an anti-Obama slant – when any country signed up to human rights legislation shouldn’t be systematically oppressing LGBT people.

Perhaps you think Uganda (it’s a country in Africa) is right to try and pass legislation making its legal to hang homosexuals? While at the same time this country has high rates of heterosexually transmitted HIV (particularly among its Christian population) and is a by word for corruption – and holds out its begging bowl to the West.

Fine, slight Obama, but then shouldn’t the US also adopt criminalisation of sexual acts etc. in line with the Bible? Let’s stone to death adulterers, teenagers who have sex before marriage (look out Palin and your slut daughter) and as Jesus said divorcees who remarry who weren’t the injured party in marital unfaithfulness, are also adulterers, lets stone to death them as well. That would be being Biblical... But you’ve probably not thought about that, you’re probably too fixated on the behavior of others – your little obsession with the specs in other people’s eyes – always wanting to point the finger. You are a ball of bigotry and hatred. No wonder the ‘more’ Christian America the worst it scores an all social wholesomeness rates – blaming others when you should be looking a little nearer home.

Why do you post such wickedness Lloyd? Perhaps you just stupid and can’t analyse and make sense of issues for yourself? I don’t know, but if you think posting such an article is furthering the Gospel, then you’ve missed the point of the Gospel entirely.

Although, I tend to agree with Anonymous. I will say this: What a difference the world would be if we would love each other as hard and as faithfully as we love, Jesus, a man who no one on this earth has met, only talked with through their own prayers.

Jesus taught us in Matthew 22:39 "You shall love your neighbor as yourself". There is no 'but' or 'unless' to that commandment. I think we need to carry on with that regardless of who the person is, but at the same time Ephesians 5:11&12 Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. Myself, I think as a 'Shining beacon of morality', we as a nation should not export immorality, just examples of love for each other regardless of who we are, without promoting an act of sin.

for every bit of darkness I see, praise God, I also see a remnant shining brightly for Him. I pray for the remnant and I pray for myself
2 Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Our lands are in need of a great healing and it begins with the remnant...
may our love be so great that the world will see and believe that the Father has indeed sent the Son.
Pure religion and undefiled is this, to help the widows and the orphans in their affliction and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
He has shown thee O man what is good and what does the Lord require of thee... but to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God... Jesus threw no stones but hung on a cross for my sins and welcomes all those who need a physician, to come. He did not pursue politics when he was here, but a ministry of Good news to all people....
He spoke truth and lived a life of service.
I thank you for making me aware of governing policies... it is much the same in Canada. I do believe that we must intervene in countries who live by the Law and the tooth for a tooth policy because as Jesus said, you who are without sin may throw the first stone(I see how stones should fall all around)....I also believe that God had a wonderful plan for mankind and we are slowly flushing all that down the toilet when we bring in new mandates to say anything goes. Still, as a remnant, we are not being forced to sin though sin may be encouraged around us. We are still the salt with savour and a light that will not be hidden. It is by our love that they will know we are his disciples. It was by the love of Christ that we knew He was from the Father. we need just immitate Him. it is quite easy really ... even if they should crucify us for our great love... they did that to him...
thank you for your posts... they keep me thinking and praying.
