They were just as much in contradiction to the scriptures then as they are now.

The final authority must be God's, not man's opinion if we are to please God.

While I don't like coffee, it is troubling that support of such sin is now viewed as desirable. Either way, let us not forget that Starbucks is not the Church.

Pray for them, yes. Boycott them if you feel you must, but I will remind everyone that the last time I was in a Starbucks, there were two men sitting together, having coffee, and discussing the Lord and His Word. The Bible was open, and there was a very engaging, very compelling discussion of all the Lord has done for His people! I am glad they have chosen not to boycott. Lets keep that in mind when discussing this issue. Unfortunately, churches are often the last ones to come around and support equal rights.

Also, if you boycott Starbucks, how about boycotting the computer that you are using. Dell, Intel and Apple have all taken similar stances as well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-601271736781558965.post-87144301244574351102012-01-31T11:04:40.202-08:002012-01-31T11:04:40.202-08:00RCUBEs: 1 Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishne...RCUBEs: 1 Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. Its irresponsible on Starbucks' part. If they do agree with gay marriage, they should keep it private. Starbucks has always supported liberal causes in the past so really this doesn't come as a shock to me. I've stopped being their customer for a while now, and this only confirms I made the right choice. I can't support a company financially who is in complete conflict with who I am and what I believe.Joehttp://daddyjoe.menoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-601271736781558965.post-58667435765370607932012-01-31T07:02:35.833-08:002012-01-31T07:02:35.833-08:00Man, I love their coffee, now I'll have to fin...Man, I love their coffee, now I'll have to find some other place. I sure don't want to support a company that backs up homosexuality!!! Dang! Aren't they wonderful! :)

It's not that I think gays are bad. I don't! I know gay men and I like them. They are very kind people. ~ I truly don't think the gay part of hell is hotter then the fornication or adulterer side. I don't think God hates gays. . .how could he??? sigh... It is sad to me that these immoral issues are shoved in our face constantly. We must accept them or else. I really think this constant shoving of accept this accept that is terrible tough on the human spirit. As they would say in the south it's the Devils work. I think it is. I resent most the law makers that tell me they for the sanctity of marriage with a wife on one arm and a lover on the other ~ It makes me sick to think immorality is unfashionable.

I thank God we are in a strong parish with strong leaders. Ours sons and daughters need this... Marriage should be considered a sacrament not a right.

Thank you for posting this. . .I'm getting down of my box now!

LisaLisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04395804927366343180noreply@blogger.com
